It’s been a bad couple of days. My hopes for a busy month of gigs has been largely dashed.
First, Malcolm Middleton announced a series of gigs at smaller venues in Scotland in March, then the next day cancelled them. Then I found out that Desert Hearts had cancelled their two Scottish gigs this weekend. And, to prove these things come in threes, I wasn’t able to get tickets in the pre-sale for REM at the Royal Albert Hall in March.
However as part compensation, nme.com announced a short Bob Mould UK tour in May which opens at the ABC on 23rd May. Do you think he’ll play this?

Possibly but I’d maybe rather see De Rosa headlining on the Friday. Can I risk my marriage by going to both??
