Ed over at 17 Seconds has been posting a lot of Peel stuff recently and once of these tracks reminded me of a 12″ single I own.
‘This Is Motortown’ by the Very Things came out in, I think 1986 or 1987 and I like it a lot but, as so often is the case, I never followed it up beyond, perhaps a further 12″. I’ll have to check.

You can download a compilation containing several versions of the song here. You may be able to track down a CD on eBay.

Thanks, guys. I think I’ve got the follow up single as well which I’ll post some time. Don’t think either made it onto a proper album but I could be wrong.
