More Manic Pop Thrills

There’s been a flurry of fairly recent That Petrol Emotion activity with digital re-releases of both debut LP ‘Manic Pop Thrill’ and posthumous live LP ‘ Final Flame’.

It’s the latter that’s been of most interest to me since I missed it first time around. The digital version available on iTunes, eMusic and Amazon features 22 tracks in the original set order, 6 more than the original release on Sanctuary back in 1994.

TPE have just finished a short tour of  Ireland with dates thrown in at ATP and in New York. Here’s hoping that 2010 brings an indoor Scottish date (or two).

Get the digital releases here.

Here’s a Tube pefformance from back in the day:

all the best for Xmas Day Mike. Hope its not too manic…and a real pity the game is off on the 27th. See you soon amigo.

  2. Thanks, JC. Same to you and R.

We’ve been expecting the game to be off for days given the forecast. How many loan signings will remain after the 2nd?
