Mitchell Museum it seems never stand still. Whilst they’re still working on their second LP with no indication of when that may arrive, they are about to release a taster single ‘What They Built’. The single is officially released on Monday (4th) but there’s a Glasgow launch at Stereo this evening (2nd) also featuring Fur Hood and Andrea Marini.

The single is going to be available on a limited edition playable 16 key keyboard (presumably available at the gig) which you smash to get an exclusive download code. For such an inventive band it must be hard for the ideas to keep pace with the music!

As for the music, ‘What They Built’ is perhaps the closest they’ve come to capturing the live sound in the studio. So it’s absolutely bursting withe hyperactive energy but doesn’t forget the killer melody essential for all great MM songs. It may of course be misleading but WTB suggests that there’s no prospect of Mitchell Museum slowing down any time soon.

Get it at all the usual online digital retailers from Monday.
