It’s time to start the end of year review. I’m going to limit myself to 4 backward looking posts but will fill it out the next couple of weeks with some of the artists who have featured on the blog this year. And that’s where I’m going to start.

If you’re looking for a contender for band of the year then FOUND are particularly strong candidates. A brilliant third LP ‘Factorycraft’, some tremendous live shows, including one spectacular one co-promoted by MPT, a playable chocolate single and a trip to India probably count as the most obvious highlights. And yet 2012 looks like it could be just as memorable for the band.

Bass player Tommy Perman looks back on 2011 for MPT:

Your own Musical highlight of the year:
Our Homegame performance in Legends was great fun. The audience carried Johnny ‘Pictish Trail’ Lynch above their heads when we played ‘Johnny I Can’t Walk the Line’.
