No-one that has read the blog ever will be surprised that the last two bands on the bill would be right at the top of my wishlist.
Kid Canaveral have featured on here regularly over the last 3 or 4 years. They’re a great live act and have the songs to back that up. LP number 2 is in the can and, judging from the 7 or 8 tunes they’ve previewed live so far, it may even top debut ‘Shouting At Wildlife’.
I’m thrilled they’re able to do the show and am sure that they’ll appeal to loads of people who haven’t heard them before.
I’m equally thrilled to be able to announce that the final act will be none other than TV21.
The veterans on the bill, they were one of my favourite bands back when I were a lad. Their 21st century reunion has surpassed expectations providing not just an excellent 2nd LP but also a string of tremendous live shows.
They’ve not been so active in the last couple of years so this will be a rare chance to catch them live – in fact only their second gig of the year.
The full line-up for the show is now as follows (not in order of appearance):
- The Bad Books
- Sam Barber and the Outcasts
- Cancel The Astronauts
- Martin John Henry (solo)
- Kid Canaveral
The show will take place in Watt’s in Cupar on Sunday 11th November, between 2pm and 9 pm. It will be a family friendly charity fundraiser for Kingdom Kids.
More details of tickets etc to come in the near future.
