MPT continues its look back at 2012, this time with the help of Danny Barria guitarist/vocalist from the Big Sleep, the first North American musician to take part in this series. Rest assured, this won’t be the last mention of the Big Sleep on here this year …

Kind of feels weird and pluggy to break everything down into pieces. Feels like we come across so sterile when we answer things like this.
The best way to put it is that after a four year break it was great to get back out in the world and be consumed by being in a band again.
Touring the UK and Europe for the first time was pretty great, and diving into another US tour as soon as we got back from that felt like we were accomplishing a lot.
We’re going to keep writing and recording and touring till Sonya decides she’s tired of me. I want to do more and stay as busy as possible, Sonya has a healthier sense of balance.
