2017 – Live

Let’s cut to the chase – Live Band of the Year.

I actually saw them play my first two gigs of 2017 but despite seeing stellar performances from the likes of the Dream Syndicate and P.J. Harvey in 2017, it has to be the Blue Aeroplanes for their brilliant shows in Edinburgh and Glasgow in January.

We didn’t get the autumn tour that was talked about but 2018 should bring both a new ‘Planes LP and hopefully more Scottish gigs.

As mentioned above there were other great shows – here’s the best of the performances (in chronological order but mainly in November!):

The Blue Aeroplanes – The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh (Saturday 14th January 2017)  and Stereo, Glasgow (Sunday 15th January 2017) [Review] and [Photos].
